The reason is 9 times out of 10 cases, you can bet these calls are scams, and are designed for one purpose only - to steal your money or your identity. It is imperative that you understand the difference between a legitimate telemarketing call and a scam, because although it is true that the goal of a phone solicitor is to obtain your money, the difference is you will actually receive a real product or service in return.
